What are your renter requirements?

• Must be 25 years of age or older (however we do offer a young renters fee for customers ages 21-24)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
• Proof of Insurance

What are your age requirements for renting a car?

• The minimum age to rent without surcharge is 25 years of age.
• We offer a young renters program for customers ages 21-24. For an additional $25 per day a customer aged 21-24 can rent from Life Affordable Auto Rental.

What forms of payment are accepted for renting?

• Initial authorization for all rental vehicles must be a major credit card with the Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover logo.
• Final payment can be made using the same card or debit card at the completion of the trip.

Can I return my rental car when the location is closed?

• Unfortunately, due to problems with previous customers you all pickup and drop-off has to be done during business hours.

Is there a penalty to return my rental vehicle early?

• There is never a charge to return a vehicle early. Customers are only charged for the days the vehicle is in their possession.

Will there be an additional charge if I am late returning a rental?

• We understand delays are sometimes uncontrollable. We do allow a 60-minute (1-hour) grace period for rental days. After that 1-hour time period, customers are charged for an additional day.

Do I need to refuel the vehicle before returning?

• Fuel level is documented at the time of pick up and return. The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel that was recorded at the beginning of the trip.

How much is a rental car deposit?

• The authorization at the beginning of the rental is the amount of the total trip.

What is the mileage policy?

• Daily rental rates include 195 miles per day. In the event a renter goes over the allotted miles, there is an additional charge of $0.25 per mile over the limit.

What should I do if I get in an accident in a rental car?

• Of course, your safety is most important. If you are in an accident we ask that you first call 911 or the local authorities to report the incident. Then give us a call as we can try to get the vehicle towed and get you back on the road.

What should I do if my rental car breaks down?

• If the rental vehicle breaks down and is not drivable, first be sure that you are in a safe place out of traffic if possible. Then give us a call and we will try to arrange for a tow for the vehicle.
